We understand that shipping containers are working assets. Used containers naturally show cosmetic signs of their journey - surface rust, dents, patches, and scratches are common and expected. However, under the Viva Containers Guarantee, every container we deliver is structurally sound and ready to serve its next purpose.

NEW (One-Trip) Shipping Containers - 10-Year Warranty

Your new container is covered for 10 years, ensuring:

• Doors will open and close properly to secure the contents
• Floors remain free of holes
• Roofs remain free from leaks

Please Note: One-Trip containers may show minimal signs of their single journey, such as forklift tire marks, light dents, or minor scratches. This is rare but possible and does not affect structural integrity.

Used Cargo Worthy (CW) Shipping Containers - 1-Year Warranty

Your used container is covered for 1 year, ensuring:

• Doors will open and close properly
• Floors remain free of holes
• Roofs remain free from leaks

Please Note: Surface rust, dents, and scratches are consistent with normal wear and tear on used shipping containers and are expected on CW units.

Our guarantee includes a pre-delivery inspection by our on-site expert team, a review by the driver before loading the container, and a final inspection at the delivery site with you. Any defects covered under our guarantee will be repaired at no cost to you. The Viva Guarantee is subject to the conditions outlined on this page and our general terms and conditions.

What's Covered Under Our Guarantee

Doors will open and close

For properly placed and leveled containers, you can expect:

• Doors to fully open and close without excessive force
• Container doors may be heavier than expected, but should operate smoothly
• Door hardware (lock rods and handles) to function properly, allowing you to secure the container

Floors are intact and in good condition

All container floors are inspected to ensure they provide a secure environment for storing and protecting your goods:

• Flooring will not show holes through to the undercarriage
• Minor delamination may be present but will not compromise structural integrity
• Any significant damage will be repaired with wooden or steel plates
• For proper container placement guidance, please refer to our delivery requirements

Roofs are free from leaks

We ensure all containers maintain their weather-tight integrity so you can safely store goods:

• Surface rust is common on used shipping containers and does not indicate structural compromise
• Any holes or compromised areas will be repaired with ISO-approved patches
• Patches are welded around the exterior perimeter and sealed to prevent moisture entry
• Minor dents and scratches are common but should not compromise the roof's integrity

Repair and resolution

Viva Containers LLC will repair, or arrange for repair, any equipment within the guarantee period not meeting the conditions above. For minor repairs, we will send ISO-approved patches for holes. This guarantee excludes cosmetic appearance.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

We stand behind our shipping containers. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of delivery. The refund includes the full purchase price minus delivery costs and handling fee per container.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Defects caused by misuse or alterations
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic imperfections such as surface rust, dents, scratches, or discoloration
• Damage occurring after delivery
• Issues resulting from improper placement or leveling

Except for the guarantees listed above, Viva Containers LLC disclaims all representations and warranties, either express or implied, including:

• Design, condition, availability, operation, or fitness for use of the equipment
• Fitness of the equipment for any particular use or purpose
• Conformity of the equipment to specifications required by any jurisdiction

Viva Containers LLC shall not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage caused or alleged to have been caused by the equipment, including lost profits or special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
